I’ve recently been getting away from making my own recipes, and using a lot of cook books. It ebbs and flows I guess. But here are some pics from my recent recipes.
I love a challenge, aka turning none vegan things in to vegan things.
My co-workers were posting a non vegan recipe around on facebook this weekend, and I made it vegan for them to try on Monday!
I modified this one from the Native Food’s Recipe book a friend lent me.
The best part of this was the homemade enchilada sauce, which I am normally too lazy to make, but glad I did.
It’s a tradition that my husband and I get each other whatever dessert we request for our birthday. Usually that means my husband goes out and buys something for me, which is ok, but for him I try to make it myself. This year he told me a story about when he was in the army (before being vegan) he had a banana cream pie that he remembers being delicious and asked me to make that. Challenge accepted.
I don’t remember exactly what recipe I used for this, but based not the pictures I can guess.
I know, I’m not as good about posting as I used to be, but every month or two I accumulate some recipes I want to get up here so I can use them again in the future, and so others can enjoy them as well. So here’s February’s dump! The first post is just pictures of things I didn’t actually remember the recipe for.
I know it’s been way too long since I’ve posted. The truth is I haven’t really made many new recipes, but have been re-creating old ones, or using cook books. Here are some pictures of recipes I’ve tried recently.
I’ve never made a cauliflower alfredo sauce: it was a pleasant surprise.
Had to use the springform pans for this one, but worth it.
